If I was a bank owner and loaned Breiburn cash, or investor and purchased bonds I would at least want my money back.

In Breitburns case it seems management lined up first to take millions in bonuses then allowed all others to line up and fight it out.

Should not have given management a dime until loan agencies compensated.

Don't forget the entities who provided BBEP with their current stable of hedges. I'm thinking those entities really didn't think they would ever have to pay those out...and I'd bet they really don't want to.
