Well aware it is the parent upgraded (ALJ) and not ALDW but that's not unfortunate nor is it too bad, IMO.
They have more than the Big Spring refinery (ALDW) which we partners share. They have the Krotz Springs 74k bpd refinery in La. and 3 California refineries.
The three small refineries in California work as one unit. Isn't that a foreign country? lol

California refining operations were suspended in December 2012.

Alon USA Energy, Inc. refines and markets petroleum products, primarily in the South Central, Southwestern, and Western regions of the United States. It operates in three segments: Refining and Marketing, Asphalt, and Retail. The Refining and Marketing segment operates sour crude oil refinery located in Big Spring, Texas with a crude oil throughput capacity of approximately 73,000 barrels per day (bpd); light sweet crude oil refinery located in Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a crude oil throughput capacity of approximately 74,000 bpd; and heavy crude oil refineries located in Paramount, Bakersfield and Long Beach, California.
