If you are combining it with Aim, once you do a trade, you have to await another Aim signal even if the crossover wip saws, so it doesn't really mannage.

First, there is a twofold process. Stock selection and stock entry of that selection.
Stocks that I consider for investment have passed the selection criteria and ready to be purchased.
Now, if the MACD convergence is at or near the crossover point, the number for me can be .001 or slightly higher. A judgment call at this point.
