True, if Intel isn't selling lots of Pentium D's and Pentium 4's. On the other hand, if Intel is selling lots of Pentium D's and Pentium 4's then AMD's going to look bad in their Q3 earnings? Why? Because Intel's going to sell a ton of their inventory they've been building up and it's going to prove that AMD left money on the table because they weren't prepared for Intel's Core 2 Launch and corresponding price decreases in the Pentium line up.

Of course, you will believe it's the Osbourne affect because you don't ever give Intel any credit.
