I wonder if at some point there isn't legislation requiring insurers to reimburse all medicine prescribed for...indication...and not favor one drug over another if they are not chemically equivalent...

That would destroy one of the most effective vehicles for preventing an explosion in drug prices.

A healthcare system cannot have both unlimited choice and low costs.
