Thank you for constructive banter! Always like hearing other views to help me fully understand. I understand that both are reinvesting as they still have a job to do in keeping liquidity but, and maybe I am not grasping it, I also thought they were being forced to get safer and have a smaller "footprint". Safer I mentioned as they are losing spread by selling riskier MBS. If they are having their reserves drained to zero by 2018 by FHFA, are they going to be able to always reinvest what they sell or as it gets paid off? Will they always remain at a 5 trillion sized entity? And if so, there is no wind down and any absorption into new entity would call for compensation. Correct?
