Yes, and it also shows... the number of shares currently shorted. The real argument is whether or not the SEC grandfathered the previous shorting. Jim Bishop had some detailed posts lately that indicate it is cumulative. I have read other accounts saying the opposite. I do know they grandfathered the shorts prior to the SHO list so it would not surprise me.
