g2g, I'll spin it for you using one of this board's best researchers with research less than two months old:

Bottom line: All my research and statistical modeling indicates the following:
-FDA clearance will happen shortly
-sales ramp up immediately
-stock spikes to $4.50-5.25 in short term
-insiders make open market purchases
-additional catalysts such as SNAP and China will come to fruition
-the next few quarters will turn a surprise profit
-stock price stabilizes in a $3.25-$4.25 near term channel
-one of the major players steps in and gobbles up the company in an $8.75-12.00 range to prevent Amedica from going full tilt boogie on the sector.

It's almost as if the above came from Dr. Bal's mouth himself. Wink Wink LOL

...and...

Obviously the reduction in burn is positive. The lack or FDA clearance was expected as I noted yesterday. The decline in sales isn't terribly concerning only because there "appears" to be an ENORMOUS revenue backlog hinged on the "imminent" FDA approval. They also appear to be ramping up the sales channel as well. All positive. The greatest concern I have are not the aforementioned red herrings, or the dreaded "reverse split", rather the potential influence the 2 or 3 major players within the sector have on Amedica's sales.

Regardless of sector or industry, billion dollar players have tremendous influence over markets/distributors/customers if they feel there is a threat to their sales and bottom line. Although Amedica is a scientifically brilliant yet quasi-dysfunctional company that looses money quarterly, make no mistake about it, their science is a threat to established Giants.

Who was that bullish researcher? Who was that person in other posts that called for a media blackout on the FDA approval and better fiscal discipline? Why, its You.

I'm on bored with "this looks really bad" BUT, companies have been known to allow key individuals the opportunity to "walk away gracefully" to create the appearance that they resigned as opposed to having a termination on their record.... Not spinning this trust me! Just pointing out the ONLY counter argument here lol...

Rough day just got worse.... I'll leave it at that
