Republicans outraged that Kaine interrupted Pence's constant lying

It’s been just over a week since Donald Trump interrupted Hillary Clinton 33 times in the first presidential debate (you can watch the video below). So of course—of course—Trump is outraged that Tim Kaine interrupted Mike Pence in the vice presidential debate.
The constant interruptions last night by Tim Kaine should not have been allowed. Mike Pence won big! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 5, 2016
Trump interrupted Clinton to say—among many other things—that being excited about the housing collapse is “called business,” that he did not say climate change was a Chinese hoax when he did in fact say that, that he was right to stiff an architect who worked for him, that if he had paid income tax it “would have been squandered,” and that he didn’t support the Iraq war (he did). Kaine interrupted Pence to point out that the things Pence was calling insulting were quotes from Trump, that it was bizarre for Pence to talk about the Obama administration emboldening Russia when Trump’s admiration for Vladimir Putin is well established, and that the U.S. withdrawing most troops from Iraq happened under an agreement negotiated by George W. Bush.
Trump interrupted to lie. Kaine interrupted to correct lies. He could have been smoother about it, but Pence could have lied less.
But you go with what you’ve got, so interruptions it is. In fact, one of the major Republican talking points of the day is that Kaine was “unhinged,” with his interruptions being an example of how unhinged this mild, dad-joke of a politician was.
I don’t know about you, but if forced to sit across from someone lying as blatantly and repeatedly as Pence, I’d have shown them what unhinged really looks like.
