Conspiracy theory. How about this, "someone" is happy dumping their (most likely free) shares at 5 cents. If they were free, 5 cents isn't too bad of a profit, especially when you can unload several hundred thousand or more in one afternoon.
It is in everyones intrest to go higher, except someone. I agree it is costing someone money to keep downward pressure on the stock. Any attempt to move up is quickly blocked. Average daily volume increasing, will be more costly to continue.
