Interesting, considering MZEI patent tied up the tech for more than a decade and you claim they can get another 20 years out of it. 20 years is as much as they would get lifetime if they had paid the fees - not that I know 2 hoots about the new regulations.
Many companies are working on exciting tech in this space and all claiming to be the obvious solution, so they could have dropped the project for many reasons. I know another that has been working with the US Army testing their wound treatment tech for years, and got another year renewal recently.
