As big a story as it is that Trump paid no taxes for 18 years, while Trump criticizes hedge fund managers for avoiding paying taxes. may not be as big as HOW the NY TIMES obtained this information. One of the NYT reporters who wrote this story received a copy of Trump's tax return in her NYT mailbox with "Trump Tower" the return address; another reporter on the team traveled to FL to verify with the accountant that it was a legit Trump return.
Someone inside Trump's camp wanted this info published, a clear sign Trump's campaign is in chaos.
