Rams: Six rookies signed

The Rams signed six of their draft picks and agreed to terms with a seventh on Tuesday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. Wide receiver Kevin Curtis, cornerback DeJuan Groce, tight end Dan Curley, cornerback Kevin Garrett, linebacker Scott Shanle, and tight end Richard Angulo all signed three-year deals. Cornerback Shane Walton agreed to terms. The Rams still have not signed first-round pick, defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy, and second-round pick, linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa. St. Louis opens training camp on Wednesday.

The only name that you'll probably need to know in 2003 is Kevin Curtis, who is set to take over the fourth receiver spot following the release of Terrence Wilkins. Curley and Angulo are buried on the tight end depth chart but could emerge if Cam Cleeland gets hurt...again.
