I think the key to ur analysis is "2 weeks ago". Everything points to reduced demand moving forward over the Fall season. Markets are generally forward thinking, as you know. My guess the bulls are on holiday until cold weather sits in. Has been a heck of a run NG for many months, taking a breather before moving back up. Imo
