It's an interesting concept. I usually demonstrate it using a circle showing it divided in 4's as one cuts a pie. Each piece seems like a very large percentage of a 4 year olds life and those slices get smaller as you add more cuts with age. Hope you understand what I'm trying to convey...usally, just show via drawings.

It's no wonder a year of my life feels like nothing at this point. It just seems to fly by!

Thanks for posting. I'd been very aware of the concept, but, never knew who came up with it. Now I know it was Paul Janet in 1897. ;)
