I disagree. I think anybody posting on this board can understand the article to which I posted a link.
Unfortunately, few indeed are the people willing to consider new information and change their minds. More unfortunate is that we are likely wired that way, getting a blast in the ventral striatum every time we justify our point of view (even to ourselves) regardless of valid reasons to change our position...
...which is probably why the presidential debates are fun to watch and almost useless in helping voters choose the best choice based on all information.
