#52189 RE: RPR #52171

The estimated timeline had "Begin generating revenues from quantum dot material sales" in Calendar Q3-2016. So the 10-K has $15K of revenue in Calendar Q2 in addition to the Q1 $225K from Nitto Denko. I think it is reasonable to assume that the $15K was due to the sale of quantum dot material since the company has stated that they shipped QD samples in Q2.

QMC Enters Next Phase of Cadmium-Free Quantum Dot Development
Company participating at SID’s Display Week Conference in San Francisco

SAN MARCOS, Texas, May 23, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Quantum Materials Corp (OTCBB:QTMM) today announced that it has completed the initial development phase with its display film partners and is entering a pre-production phase in which the Company has committed to an accelerated sample optimization and delivery schedule for its cadmium-free quantum dots.

Quantum Materials has begun shipping additional deliveries of cadmium-free quantum dot samples to its partners and is scheduled to increase shipment quantities as development reaches pre-commercial scale later this year.

This initial revenue from material sales is quite modest, but it started earlier than forecast in Q2 rather than Q3. So we will wait for the 10-Q in November to see how the material sales revenues may grow larger due to the scheduled increases in shipments of samples while in this pre-production mode.

To me, the new forecast in the 10-K to "commence generating revenues from the production of materials at the San Marcos facility in early 2017" is referring to the beginning of revenues from commercial scale production in 2017 rather than the pre-production sale of samples in 2016.
