A gunman is on the run and four people have been shot dead in a US shopping centre
in the north-western US town of Burlington, Washington State Police have confirmed.

The shooting in Cascade Mall, a shopping centre popular with families,
100 kilometres north of Seattle, occurred before 8pm on Friday, US time.

i traveled many times as a child from Vancouver to Seattle where my mother's family live .. it's heart-breaking to read this kind of grief ..

so less aggressive, particularly when dealing with troubled individuals, would less police shootings occur?

Just one question which has been in my mind for a time.
