A different perspective... understandably, not for everyone:

An answer to those who live and love to twist... (Bill Clinton - "... it depends on what "is" is... " WHAT!?!?!?)...

Douay Rheimes Bible -

Proverbs 17 verse 4: The evil man obeyeth an unjust tongue: and the deceitful hearkeneth to lying lips.

2 Timothy 1 verses 3-10 Warning against False Teaching
3As I desired thee to remain at Ephesus when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some not to teach otherwise, 4Not to give heed to fables and endless genealogies: which furnish questions rather than the edification of God, which is in faith. 5Now the end of the commandment is charity, from a pure heart, and a good conscience, and an unfeigned faith. 6From which things some going astray, are turned aside unto vain babbling: 7Desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither the things they say, nor whereof they affirm.

8But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully: 9Knowing this, that the law is not made for the just man, but for the unjust and disobedient, for the ungodly, and for sinners, for the wicked and defiled, for murderers of fathers, and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10For fornicators, for them who defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and whatever other thing is contrary to sound doctrine, 11Which is according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, which hath been committed to my trust.

Hi Ayock, based on the article you posted, “For the record, I have ZERO investments in Russia” appears to be a true statement. Nothing in the article you posted indicates Trump has investments in Russia. Its kinda weird for someone to assert something is a lie when it isn't. Such is life in the age of "anyone can publish anything internet journalism".

Its not illegal to business with Russia. Or China. Its not illegal to sell real estate to Russians. Its not illegal to go into a real estate investment relationship with Russians. Or the Chinese.

So basically the author is saying that Trump is a liberal who wants peaceful relations with Russia.

Which means Democrats should vote for him.

On the other hand, Woodward and Bernstein think Hillary Clinton is this generation's Richard Nixon. Which means democrats shouldn't vote for her.

I hope that clear things up.

Hi A, I stopped reading it seriously after this >>

"An ABC News investigation.."

LOL! Everything about this article is twisted and misleading, starting with the title.

This cracks me up!! ~~>>

Throughout all of this, Trump has insisted that he has no business ties to Russia. “For the record, I have ZERO investments in Russia” he tweeted in July. Now – brace yourself, this might come as a shock – it appears he’s been lying to us the whole time.

What did he lie about? He has ZERO investments in Russia. That is correct. Even the article confirms that!

Trump is a businessman, and business has no borders. The simple fact is that Russians might like to invest in his properties here in America, just like the Chinese and other communist countries do as well, but that is not Trump investing in Russia. LMAO ..what a pointless and spun article. The Miss Universe part is hilarious also, means nothing, the pageant is international.

The part about rich oligarchs "looking to funnel their ill-gotten gains out of their country" had me laughing hysterically also; You are aware that policies in place long before Trump ran for POTUS allowed for this to happen for decades. Communist countries have long used "too big to fail" banks (here and globally) for money laundering and buying properties and businesses here in the states and abroad. Sadly, it's all legal and business and usual.

I rather see these Quasi-Capitalist/Communist States continue to buy our debt (Treasuries) than our land and businesses. But instead they are dumping them at a dizzying & firesale pace. The article would've been better served talking about something important like that, other than made up, twisted drivel.

But nonetheless, this article is a pathetic attempt at journalism from a corrupted, agenda & scandal ridden Fourth Estate.
