Simple. Everyone uses algos to execute. Anyone with $1,000 and an Interactive Brokers account can do this.

If you want to buy say 10,000 shares of ANY (which only costs $450 now lol), you don't throw up 10,000 on the bid and show your hand - you only show a board lot at a time, or not at all and have your order executed with nobody ever knowing you are buying 100, 10,000, or 100,000. Ditto for selling.

Giving the pounding in the shares it's probably large blocks of shares getting dumped but trades broken up into 100 share chunks.

ANY has like a $20M market cap and it's a penny stock now. Few if any major shorts will even bother looking at it.

Sadly it seems ANY is approaching fundamental value....
