Thanks for the reply BullishSwag, but I don't have L2 for US stocks. I'm Canadian and my trading platform is not very sophisticated and the only L2 I see anywhere is 15 mins delayed from sites like this.
This was a total emotional trade...a rooking mistake, but I was listening to Bloomberg this morning and they said that this should go up to about 1500% once the deal is closed.
I know that takes time and I was wondering how this plays out in the meantime as I don't follow pharma stocks at all and I didn't have any time at all to do any DD on this company at all as I was chasing this trade this morning.
I see the results quite often of what just happened today and of course by the time you see that trade it's way too late to get in, but this one seems to have another leg to go and that's why I got in.
I see what you mean by "sweeping people out" as that seems to be what is happening as I type, that's normal and I see that in other trades that I make.
I'm not a daytrader so I will be holding on to this one for a while, I guess...this is a real learning experience!
