We got lucky in terms of meeting Eddie who spent a good deal of time at our table discussing the former neighborhood, his travels and our joint recollections. It was quite a unique experience. By the time I left he knew my name and had committed it to memory.
Now to the food......OMG for the short ribs. My husband literally scrapped all of my mashed potatoes off my plate onto his, we had a selection from calamari, mac and cheese, wedge, mushrooms and slider. there was not a dish that didn't get devoured. in fact, before we left we ordered three dishes to take home. Plus we had coffee and desert. the whole two days worth of meals came to under $100.
Eddie: keep my seat by the window. we will be back.
