Thanks for the posts PoorP-S.
Can I ask if you know if the rechargeable battery the company claims to have embedded within the card is also Li-ion?
If so it seems logical to suspect that similar issues may be experienced with the card.
Literally burning a hole in your back pocket ;~].
Although not an everyday event, but still a possibility. Rendering the card useless.
