Yes "it will pop when you least expect it" might not be a conventional assessment of a strategy. It is wrong to say it holds no weight when trading though. If stock picking was 100% science then everyone would be making money, but we have to accept that it is also an art that is not all measurable by numbers. I believe that "it will pop when you least expect it" is a very accurate statement specially for this play. If the FEDs decide to raise rates just to say F U to the financial media which we all know is a possibility due to the fact that they are known to act unconventionally then we would most-likely see a huge boost in financial stocks instantaneously as they'd be the one to benefit most. The longer BAC stays dormant at these levels, the more volatile the stock will move when that catalyst appears.
Either down to $10s or up to $22s, it will move IMO...
