Question - if they are working on some sort of deal and want to protect themselves from someone purchasing a major stake, would this be something they can use? Honest question

I do believe that if ZONX came out and stated they were cancelling the reverse split approval given to the Board we would see a pop. However, I don't expect that to happen as they have already stated they believe it would be in the best interest of shareholders - or some wording such as that. I also believe the company desires to enact a reverse split as it will not impact unallocated shares owned by the company - only issued shares. They had to know the 14c would negatively impact the market for their shares. Only thing I can come up with is they wanted shareholder approval now thinking they might not get it later - meaning they might issue more shares and then be in a position of not being majority owners - just a guess. My opinions as always.
