This article has nothing whatsoever to do with ERHC. You just took it upon yourself to post more bull. When you get concrete evidence of any wrongdoing, why don't you post that, that is the way it works. they have to prove something wrong was done, so you do the same. You must have a lot of time on your hands to come up with this one.

Morning Oilman - it is fair to have concerns about a company in which you are invested, but I don't think you are right in thinking that the content of the article "does not bode well for ERHE".

I think that this point has been brought to closure time and time again on the board and repeat as follows:

- Bribery may or may not have taken place, but in Africa there is always a strong possibility, particularly in light of ERHC's "unusually favouable rights".
- IMO, any bribery that may have taken place would have been done on the quiet in Africa by Africans that are expert in making sure there is no paper trail and that everybody keeps their mouth shut.
- No bribery would have been conducted from Houston with any form of paper trail or anything else linking bribery with the Houston office.
- The Sao Tomean side voiced their concern with the AG report and since that was rejected by the JDA, no further complaint is being voiced by the Sao Tomean side. In fact the PSC's were signed and all want to get on with the job of drilling oil and making money.
- The Nigerian side are making no fuss at all.
- It is not in the interest of either the Sao Tomean government, the Nigerian government or the JDA to take any step backwards and result in any further wrangling over ERHE's rights.
- The AG report may have been designed by the Sao Tomeans to stir up a little fuss so that they could chip away at ERHE's rights in the EEZ, much as happened for ERHE's rights in the JDZ. Essentially: here you go ERHE, we will kick up a fuss unless you take a little less than you thought you were going to get.
- The only authority with any current interest in ERHE's dealings resulted from the DOJ raid, which has gone very quiet. As they won't find anything in documents from ERHE's Houston office and they won't get any help from Africa with the investigation where will they go next? Do you really think that with the word corruption having been thrown at ERHE for years that there would be any record of same in Houston whatsoever? That would be like a drug dealer knowing the police are coming and not chucking the weed down the toilet!
