Because chk is in hock up to it's eyeballs. It has received a lot of positive press lately and sentiment is up, but fundamentally it depends on the price of oil being high.
Imho oil is headed down the next couple weeks at least, and chk could be in trouble. Time for a trading pullback anyways.
