I believe if I'm not correct that your family can sell the position but while under that SIN number your restricted from purchasing equity and for me I can only purchase bonds. I can purchase under my son or daughters name as a loan to them but as you know I won't be around. It will be a gift to them.

I hope anyone reading this will do there own DD on the subject. My retaining details are not what they were when I was much younger.
