Excellent mopar and that's exactly what the letter states ie: fees are now due woohoo>>>

A notice of allowability indicates that the application satisfies all the requirements of patentability, and it closes prosecution on the merits. The application does not proceed from there to grant until a notice of allowance is issued and the issue fees are paid.

Thanxs for the link Mopar

Under US law, the publication of a patent application or grant of a patent may be withheld if it would be considered detrimental to national security. Procedurally, it will be examined by an examiner with appropriate security clearance and can proceed as far as a notice of allowability. Once the secrecy order is lifted and the application declassified, a notice of allowance may be issued and the application may then proceed to grant.

I don't see how this would be considered detrimental to national security.

As far as I can see... it's a done deal... only thing left is payment of fee... which if I recall right is negligeable!!!

I don't think that issuance of the patent will mean squat to the average investor because they will not recognize the value... but I would not be surprised if there aren't institutions and perhaps partners-wannabee that have been watching the developments.

It may very well be IPCI's partner that's buying now.
