lol, agreed. I guess it's the oxymoron of "conservative gambling". They want to trade a very (market-timing-sensitive) risky ETN, but only want the blender set on SHRED rather than FRAPPE

SPXS would probably be a better product to play, rather than VXX if one thinks the market is set for a pullback. 3x the S&P 500.

many times lately, the SPX is down and VXX is also down.

right now VXX up 0.87% and SPXS up 1.0%
