My take on the show last night
First of all in my opinion, this was the faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better semifinal it wasn't even close in my opinion. I have 7 acts for 5 spots.
1) Jayla Brown- Good control, pretty voice, good power, went off slightly on one note, other then that close to perfect. What she is able to do with her voice is really good especially at her age in my opinion. Another really good performance, she has been consistent pretty much every time out she puts on a pretty good performance in my opinion, there is something to be said about consistency.
Grade A-
2) Kadan Bart Rocket- The Kid magicians, the act had some problems to say the least. Forget that the house was falling apart, the magic was not that great, and I didn't think their interaction between them was that good either. Their worst performance yet in my opinion. Didn't like it.
Grade D+
3) Kadie Lynn- The country singer, had control issues. Timing issues, she constantly fell off the notes, didn't love that either.

4) Viktor Kee- I love this juggling act, and he was very good. Having said that he did drop one, and I just didn't like the setting as much as other setting as well. Still did a good job though.
Grade B+
5) Linkin Bridge- Best Performance they have had in this contest. Harmonizations were pretty good, like how they did that song and how they arranged it with when they came in with the harmonization. It was a fantastic Performance in my opinion.
Grade A-
6) Passing Zone- Didn't think they should of went through. And I didn't like their banter it took forever to get to the trick which in reality was just okay for me. I was bored to be honest most of their act.
Grade C-
7) Calysta- The girl cancer survivor singer. Paled too the original, didn't have the power to do that song correctly, I didn't like the stops, she took during the song, made it too slow, and like there was a delay.
Grade C-
8) Steven Brundage- The Cube magic act. I thought he was very good, but I did like some of his other performances a tiny bit better. The face at the end could of been anyone though. Other then that was pretty good, but not his best.

9) Soffie Dossi- Got away from the bow and arrow and did something a bit different, I personally loved it, and thought she was fantastic, I also thought it changed the act, a bit, to not make it a one trick pony so to speak, as and aerial act, as well as a cartoenion act.
Grade A
10) Clairevoyance- I'm sure there is some trick to this, but I can't figure it out. Kind of a bit eerey, and I personally loved it. There great as usual in my opinion.

11) Brian Crumb- I happen to think he is a fantastic singer, he makes you feel something, and has amazing power for me.

My Top 5 (I feel bad for Steven and Viktor as I like them, but here are my choices.)

Hopefully I'm alot closer, at the end of the day any combo of those 7 in 5 is fine. It is very subjective what isn't subjective is those 4 shouldn't go through out of those 4 the one I'm worried about is Calysta, I hope people don't vote for her because she is a cancer survivor, because that is a bad reason to vote for someone, she was simply not that great last night. All is just my opinion of course.
