UPLD is now up over 55% off their 52 week low from just a few months ago.

Most companies at this stage are considered "growth stage" and being in an emerging industry growing 70% CAGR, being profitable is not necessary in short term, since growth is priority. Focus is on customer acquisition, revenue growth, and customer retention. Profits will come. They have pretty healthy revenue per employee (over $200k), decreasing expenses, and increasing profits. They could be trading over $30 / share in 2018 at this rate.

For sake of comparison, Salesforce has been around for over a decade... and still not profitable.
