The total rent to be paid to the landlord is $215,628. To date $25,000 of the rent has been paid to the Landlord. Pursuant to the Lease and Service Agreement the Landlord will provide all necessary accommodations and services for up to 56 guests at a time, including but not limited to: check in/out services, linens, housekeeping, daily breakfast services and other typical guest ranch services.

If there wasn't clarification in the contract about what "typical guest ranch services" exactly is, then that was a colossal (but unsurprising) screw-up from MJMJ.

However, this does provide a plausible excuse for Joel to stiff the ranch operator the remaining $180,000 payment...
