It is good that you want to act viscerally to Buipharm's post. That is another puzzle peice. That piece together with the potential RS is the piece we needed. There is no doubt now that our time is near. Makes me want to become a landscaper so I can figure all these damn puzzles out.

biopharm: we have been and remain on different sides of the fence when it comes to optimism and realism regarding PPHM. However, this is the first post of yours toward which I have ever wanted to react viscerally: WHEN has this BOD EVER indicated an inclination to protect shareholder interest????!!!!

Peregrine BOD indicated an inclination to protect shareholder interest by bringing on Robert Garnick. Garnick was ex-Genentech and part of bringing 17 FDA approved drugs through the entire process and IF the BOD truly wanted to forget about all us shareholders then they would have sold out cheaply to some Big Pharma years ago

Peregrine BOD indicated an inclination to protect shareholders also by bringing on board K&L Gates for merger/acquisition intents, which Steve King CEO of Peregrine has told us many times on cc's that they are in talks... in talks... in talks...

Peregrine BOD indicated an inclination to protect shareholders by coming very close to sealing the deal with Abbott - now Abbvie, back in Sept 2012 but we all know now that Peregrine was sabotaged by what seems like a group that had control over certain parties within CSM in Fargo, ND.... namely ex-BMS CEO Gerald Finken and the weak link of Jeanette Bleecker that claimed bankruptcy a year or two prior, lost her father and all of a sudden finds herself in the middle of some sabotage of swapping the placebo arm with the 1mg of Bavi+Docetaxel arm ---- and all such a shame. Peregrine investigates and discovers sabotage roots at CSM in Fargo ND and now this is the critical point in the story...

...these are just a few but now--

Peregrine can now go back further and make speculations that if Fargo sabotage was allowed and rooted, then how far back were their other speculations that Bavi truly was sabotaged in other ways, in prior trials ???

.... Skipping to the end here now, Peregrine stock looks to be under accumulation for some time and if some Big Pharma like a Roche that has experience in silently buying up some biotech stocks then is it possible that they have all the shares and can overbid ANYONE else that would dare try to acquire Peregrine ??

So this is the point, even though Peregrine BOD tries for years to protect shareholder interest, are they (Peregrine) now stuck in a situation where they may have to force a RS to get the stock price back above a $1 and would someone like a Roche know this, knowing they will then make their takeover move against Peregrine "AFTER" such a RS in hopes that the authorized shares will be theirs for the taking !!

Is this Peregrine BOD not protecting shareholders rights ?

No, they again took measures to see who was holding all the chips/shares by changing transfer agents ( now Broadridge...) so they have a good idea where those shares sit off shore and there is a plan.... but since we don't know the full plan and since Peregrine may be at a loss ...

A shareholder registered letter stating we want all shares, including Authorized Shares to be reduced in such a RS ... IF IF IF one would ever have to take place. This way... legally, Peregrine would be not forced into allowing this to happen and K&L Gates would advise them they MUST reduce those authorized shares because there is a shareholder outcry to do so and you (Peregrine) are fully aware much in advance.

Now if what I speculate is true, then the move moves over to the dark side of someone like a Roche who may decide to move early on for a takeover of Peregrine vs waiting... because they (Roche) knows that they are not going to get away with some cheap buyout and if I am wrong... then who cares, registered letters get send anyway to Peregrine/SEC/Nasdaq and let the chips fall where they may fall.

I say they (Big Pharma) all start to fall all over PS Targeting, when they realize its not going away.

The only problem is BP "A" vs BP "X" trying to gain control of PS Targeting and as explained below, if someone like AstraZeneca wants to put up big money with Peregrine ...... do they begin to question Peregrine and Broadridge (Peregrines transfer agent) and ask "WHO" exactly owns all these big groups of shares on PPHM already ???? and would AstraZeneca speculate with all the going ons that it may be Roche ???

All good questions to ask and all the reason why a RS would even be brought up, to reduce the control of those today and IF IF a RS happened... WITHOUT REDUCING THE AUTHORIZED SHARES... would ultimately increase the ownership potential of some Big Pharma like a AstraZeneca down the road ??

All good questions and there must be a medium to reach. I once upon a time asked if Peregrine could come out with some form of Dividend just for current shareholders but only those that would vote for it and therefore FORCE the actual end user to vote for it and reveal themselves....

Which that may not happen because if various Roche or other family members so to speak are collaborating in some form, and we didn't see any additional 5%+ ownership SEC forms... then why not? and could that void all their voting power ???

Lets go K&L Gates...there are other solutions to this... but it should begin with retail shareholders sending in a registered letter to Peregrine/SEC/Nasdaq ... asap, but as Golfho posted, we must make sure we have correct names, addresses, form letters...etc..etc and more to come with that info.

If big pharma really cared enough about PPHM to kill it, they would take away Avid's customer. They could do it easily. How low would we go then? Check out Patriot Scientific, Ecotality and the others for your answer.

We do not scare big pharma and never did.
