UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA RESEARCH AND PATENT LICENCE AGREEMENT On August 6, 2015, the Company entered into research and patent option agreements with Yost Research Group at the University of Florida to develop a marijuana breath detection device based upon high-field ion mobility (FAIMS) and mass spectrometry (MS). On July 25, 2016 completed a definitive license and equity agreement with the University of Florida Research Foundation (UFRF) for US Patent 8,237,118, entitled “Partial Ovoidal FAIMS Electrode”, Patent filed on August 21, 2008, invented by Richard A. Yost, Todd A. Prox, Marilyn Prieto and Jennifer G. Bryant, in the area of breath analysis of controlled substances. The agreement provides Cannabix exclusive worldwide rights in the area of breath analysis of controlled substances.
