'peza77' Grandma gave the answer 10C's ago, when she pointed out that gold BELOW ground ain't the same as gold ABOVE ground, just too many "ifs", such as cost of mining, extraction, infrastructure, labor & the uncertainty of what the future price of gold will be. IOW, you're buying a pig in a poke, you lay down your money & you take your chances. I hope this basic fact of the mining business has now been completely understood.
