When did I say Trump was broke? Now, does Trump have financial ties to Russia because his close friend/former campaign manager Paul Manafort does and Trump has gone out of his way on several occasions to compliment Putin and/or ties to China? - for some reason Trump is afraid to clear this up by releasing his tax returns.
Bottom line - Trump is no more a candidate for president than I am...he's on an narcissist's ego trip and the old white FOX audience is all excited because he says the racist/bigoted comments they love to hear - he'll build a wall to keep Mexicans out, and he'll deport immigrants - oh wait, he already flip-flopped on that one.

But there is reason. Back in 2008, Donald Jr has been quoted on the subject:
