#31259 RE: whackywinston #31229

Now I pray that the whole industry does not wait for KM and a
brand new unit of sale : an entire and integrated and remote controlled system

no-one prepared us for that final twist

Whacky or dear Whacky, I know you have suffered my friend. I think it will be worth it. I don't think we will need to see a brand new unit sale, simply a continuation of the existing lease, or a new long term lease (which I think will happen also) is all we need to see for industry adoption. That is where QS cross the line from R&D to commercialization. Once KM give the thumbs up (which they already have basically but the industry needs to see a permanent installation) the rest of the oil industry will come calling. At some point after some orders I expect to see an offer to buy the company, or a strategic partner like Kinder Morgan to join QS. This is often how it is done, and it makes sense for QS to do this. But they need some orders first and to start to get the business off the ground. KM will be the start of that.

Don't be put off by the delay of them doing some more testing and the automation, this is an extremely good sign. I am so flipping happy that KM are doing this, because this means imo that they are looking to make this a permanent installation with that unit. Great sign, simply the best thing we could see. I am still a little anxious over the whole automation process because they will be running 3 different types of oil; light crude, ultra light and condensate. and the AOT needs to switch and adjust remotely to each new setting. But I'm not that anxious bc the AOT has been automated before on previous tests. They have done this before, so I don't think it's a big deal. But just the same let's say a prayer that everything goes swimmingly. I think it will, and with these new upgrades the AOT is doing amazing things. I am very very confident that KM will like what they see. So Whacky, while yes it is yet another thing they must do that delays us crossing that all important line, it is a very very good sign. Then imo I think that's it, I think we see them make that unit a permanent installation, which imo is what all of QS's customers want to see. and there are more oil companies than ever before coming forward wanting AOT. Companies in South America like Ecopetrol, and in the middle east like Iraq and Saudi Arabia the Kingdom. Simply incredible, I did not think they were watching us so closely. This thing really is going to be huge. The question is how long will it take from now? I think when KM move forward with a lease it will all start to happen, and maybe a few months later we start seeing sales pick up. Once KM start, every NDA will be worth a lot more $$ then before. :)
