CHK will continue higher with oil continuing to rise. OPEC cuts or fear of them could send this over $7 near term. I'm surprised nat. gas hasn't rallied. Nat. Gas should rally soon with high electricity demand the heat wave in north east and New Yorkers being told to not use the AC.
CHK could go either way….but something to consider is their really on course in turning the ship around as well as the stock is a true laggard over the past year….look at SWN a main competitor.
I think Q4 will be very telling but I do look for a decent earnings report based on the asset sales and cost cutting. The analysts are getting on board now.
