Even if Topsalysin (that's TOP SALE IS IN) worked 5% of the time you can bet your butt anyone with confirmed Prostate Cancer would choose one shot in the taint and no side affects vs sitting back and just waiting. But as of right now P2B suggests it could work 50% of the time, and that's not even with > 1000mg of the drug. Management thinks efficacy could be way higher now that they know the proper dosage and can tweak how it's administered to the tumor.
There is no drug out there that treats stage 2 PC. Whoever buys Topsalysin will have the only drug capable of treating stage 2 and simultaneously take out the competition. If it works like P2B has shown, many men will never go past stage 2 PC and the other pharma with their expensive Phase 3 and 4 drugs like Xtandi and whatever else will miss out on the money topsalysin grabs instead.
Topsalysin will be used as a preventative in the future IMO. If you have family history you won't need a biopsy, just get the needle to the taint and don't worry about increased risk of spreading by doing biopsy.
