Had suspicions about the similarities as well.

The key thing would be to get some sort of confirmation from Nitto about a relationship. No one from Nitto seems to want to confirm. I remember from some DD I did into USGA SS and Robinson name dropped quite a few legit companies, but there was never any confirmation from those companies. SS went as far as saying they had 500+ employees or something in Nevada to a local news, but their "office" was the 5th story of a 4 story building....they weren't actually employing anyone...
