It looks like they took down the technical update link at the top of each page this morning...did you read it. It explains why...you're absolutely right. The huge influx of Yahoo junkies caused something like a 30% increase in traffic overnight and they're still working to get it totally back up to speed.
They are working on a variety of things right now. The major new change will be a new server that is going to be implemented in a week or two. Until then, it will require some patience.
