Uber became government compliant in India by installing meters in cars.

The motocycle taxi industry has sooooo many players in it right now. If Uber pushed for Fare meters to be mandatory, which would instantly regulate the industry. They would Totally own that industry!! They already mentioned they want to " develop it and innovate it"

This company is going to explode bigger than we can imagine!! Imo

that's where you have it wrong... Period.

but as has been mentioned, Uber will create their own meter if they need to, they are already investing $500 million in their own mapping.
