#25825 RE: creston #25824

Many companies file statements simply to inform investors.....

I need some of this explained to me; for example: "...working very diligently and aggressively on the business model..."

Isn't a business model the description of how you intend to procure capital, a description of what you intend to sell, identifying to whom you intend to sell it, analysis of what benefits your product yields to induce customers to make the purchase, detailing how you intend to procure your merchandise and distribute it, your arrangements for paying suppliers and what kind of credit you mean to extend to customers, an outline of exactly how creditors and investors will be remunerated .... and stuff like that there?

If any of the above is vaguely correct, creating the business model should be the very first thing you do when setting up a company. In fact, shouldn't the business model should be explicitly detailed and thoroughly vetted before approaching your first investor or potential customer?

So, the question is, "Did they fail to produce a business model when they started out, do they really know what a business model is, or do they simply use it as a buzz word in press releases?"

What's with all this integration? My understanding of integration is that it would require their customers product and the Cyclone engine to be joined in such a way that they support each other --- meaning that the Cyclone and the customer's product both benefit from the interaction. Does anyone know how the Cyclone engine benefits from such an interaction? If they are just trying to place a Cyclone into their products for testing, wouldn't that seem to come under the heading of "installation"?

This was fun: "...primary focus of getting product to market and generating cash flow and on to profitability." I'm sort of amazed that this even needs to be said. Doesn't that statement simply sum up the basic reason for starting any business? If so, why the need to advertise it as something admirable?

And where's the explanation as to why all the previous press releases announcing imminent production were wrong? Is it assumed that readers simply forget previous announcements and mindlessly accept new proclamations while ignoring history?

And, finally, "...the manufacturers are finalizing production, and continued engineering support at Cyclone for these processes and new customers." This is the first time that I have heard about Cyclone having engineers on staff that are skilled in manufacturing to the degree that they can supply support for production processes. Do they currently have any engineers on staff? If not, who is providing the engineering expertise?
