I am sure they care but the assertion that they "know something" is absurd. I've talked to both of them. Management knows less than anyone would care to admit. That is precisely why this stock is where it is today. They have made blunder after blunder that should have been grounds for dismissal. And some think I should invest here because they did? Unreal, isn't it?
They invested in Stanford and lost 5 million. Then they forgot to file a carry back firm that cost us another 5 million. Then they issued toxic convertibles because it was fast and easy. Who cares what they did with "their money." That money is really our money and everything they have done has been wrong. Amazing that someone who has been so critical of management would cite their buying as a reason to be optimistic. I feel the opposite.
