You are right about that, FINRA, SEC and all the other agencies at federal and state level. They are there to record, not to deal with scam artists. It's like the school systems all over the country. The teachers spend all their time recording what they are teaching instead of teaching.
Just make sure the computer record shows something. Don't worry if it reflects the truth or not. Once someone pushes the keys, the recorded lies automatically become the truth. "The record says." And, of course, the record is never wrong. Just made up. We live in a Kafkian world.
