#163836 RE: tpecj #163835

I have been on Ihub since 2012. In that time, I have learned a lot about the penny stock "industry", and what a sleazy cesspool it is. Lying and conniving are routine and par for the course - SEC filers and non-filers alike. Some of the worst scams I follow are faithful SEC filers.

The companies I follow illustrate all gradations of scams, ranging from the ridiculous to semi-legit. I put LBSR into that latter category. They keep current with the SEC. I assume their financials are accurate and relatively truthful. They do own/lease mining claims that have some level of potential. They have actually done exploration and they do have significant exploration expertise. Although without releasing any data, it is impossible to say if the story they are telling is compelling or not.

But with the hype and the unnecessary secrecy, I doubt they will ever attract a serious investor. Either they need to get lucky with a couple of drill holes, or the convertible debt will eventually catch up to them.

I think Eli would even agree with that last sentence.
