you think MCIG could register as the MME agent (which would then make all agents under MCIG licensed) and then partner with an MME (really this would need to be a MGA deal where the MME would be top level MGA and MCIG would roll under them) , whcih would allow MCIG's employees the ability to sell (or other agents with MME licneses), with commissions being floated upwards to the MGA with each person getting a piece of revenue/profit up top).

Not quite. Each employee of mCig involved in sale or handling of MJ in Nevada would also need to have an agent's license in addition to the mCig officer who registers the company. As with insurance, the fact that the independent contractor/agency is licensed doesn't automatically make the contractors employees licensed. mCig then contracts with the MME to produce and sell Rollies and rolling services. Revenue would then either flow through mCig with mCig witholding their commission and passing the remaining revenue to the MME or the revenue could be collected by the MME and the MME would cut a commission check to mCig.

Using the insurance example, think of the MME as the insurer and mCig as the agency. mCig's reps sell the Rollies and services to dispensaries for the MME.

On the other hand, it would also be possible for the MME to buy product from other cultivators and pass it to mCig for processing and sale. Under that model, the MME would be more like an MGA, although, in insurance, the MGA is not also an insurer.

I think Les's response is the common ground we have come to. Mcig the company can't be an mj certificate holder but as long as as officer is and an employee, they can contract that employee out to an mme for purposes of providing labor. The mme would have to register that agent's certificate with the state showering they are working at the mme's establishment.

Whether mcig can register the corporation as an individual agent is irrelevant. I think bubba is saying there is no proof mcig employs anyone with an mj agent cert, and that technically that individual would not be selling for mcig, they would be selling on behalf of the mme. An individual can work for multiple MMEs. Each mme mcig provides labor or services for would need to register the individual's cert with the state. If the individual were providing services to 10 dispensaries, each despensary would need to register the individual's cert with the state and pay a fee. I have not confirmed the cost of that fee.
