A good question...SVXY finished up strong green while UVXY finished in the red. In the interim there was some fed induced volatility which may have caused a little short term error. Apart from that I have no answer.

What happens to UVXY/SVXY during the trading day sometimes may be lagging. That's why the most accurate price is about 15 minutes after close when everything is adjusted.

Just the way it works... and one of the reasons I rarely even look at UVXY/SVXY price during the day. I mainly pay attention to this
