I believe that you have misinterpreted that previous PR.
What I read in that PR was that the company HAD a problem with quality and consistency when they tried to scale up to larger volume production at the original site; and that the problem was a lack of sufficient high-quality (third party) post cocoon processing at that location. This problem was solved by limiting batch size at that location while beginning to explore other production locations. THUS THAT PR WAS REPORTING A PROBLEM; AND ITS SOLUTION.! Admittedly not the best solution, but nevertheless a problem SOLVED! KBLB "...has never came back to indicate if this issue was resolved!" because there was never any need to do that. The problem was already solved when reported.
Will they have a similar problem at this new US location? No one can say for sure. But I have to believe that Kim and Jon et al do not believe that they will or they would not have picked this as their next production location.
